Overlooking a side hill in Glenvale, NB you will find Glenvale Polled Herefords owned and operated by Philip and Shelley Thorne and Family. With humble beginnings, this family owned farm began in 1993 with a mixture of beef cattle. Over the last few years we have made the move to Purebred Hereford Cattle which now makes up 80% of our herd.

We try to use at least 70-80% AI each year with very pleasing results. Some of the Sires we use are FHF 8403 Starbuck 19H, TA-Bar WLB Formula 035J, WLB Global 72M 50S, CC CX United 52S ET and Forc 29F

Boomer 18L. We enjoy showing our cattle at 3 of our local shows which are the Sussex Hereford Show, Kent County Exhibition and the NB Beef Show. As our herd grows we look forward to putting cattle in future sales.
